Hello,
I Created a Book after My Kefalonia Vacation, I'm Very Happy with the Book! I sent a Copy to My Hostess in Kefalonia as a Gift, she was so Delighted, she shared it with Everyone in Town!
I used my Own Page Layouts by Creating them in Photoshop before Uploading them as a jpeg photo file. I was concerned if this would work, it Did and the Results were Wonderful. I'd Like to Share this Book with Forum Readers. How do I share a Book here.

I'm Glad that You Enjoyed My Book! It was a Big Hit on the small island of Kefalonia, Greece, as well as with my Family and Friends!
I used many of the Tools in Photoshop. I started with a Blank Page, Then I layered the Photos on one at a time and arranged them to my Satisfaction.
Some of the Backgrounds I selected a small Area of the Photo, then in Edit I clicked on 'Define Pattern' to save it as a fill pattern. Then on my Page I Select the area of the Page I want to use as Background, go to Fill and choose that Fill Pattern. Play with this to see what works and what does Not work. You'll get some surprising results! If the Pattern is too Dark and Competes with the Page, You can soften it by cutting the Opacity to 50% or so on the Layers Pallet.
I hope this Helps I Love to just Play around in Photoshop and see what can be done.

Very helpful, I just try your create your own pattern and fill it out as background.

One thing how you size your top layers' pictures to a small size? What options you used,
I've heard changing image/canvas size may impact the resolution of the image and hence the quality of the printout. Could you share sth on that?

Thank you very much, laifu
