Wow! My Publisher book arrived today! I finished the book late Tuesday night, it was printed Thursday, and in my hands by Saturday! THAT'S FOUR DAYS to print and mail it! I chose 2-day FedEx delivery and anticipated delivery Monday...Thank you My Publisher and FedEx - this book is awesome.

I did the storyteller format, double-sided.

Just some tips for those of you that are still working on your books:

1. Font size - I used the MP Palisade 21 point and it's way to big. I will use a smaller font next time.

2. Large pictures - If you have a large, full-page picture in your book leave some extra space on the page for the binding. The picture looked fine on my screen, but when bound cut off three people in the group shot. I should have zoomed out a little bit.

3. Make sure all your journaling is within the text box. If words are on the line of the text box they will not print. A line on my book jacket did not print on the back flap because the text is on the blue line, I thought it was within the box but was not.

4. The auto-format edited my pictures really well. I edited all my pictures before uploading them and used this tool for some of the pictures that needed extra care.

Wow! Thanks for the tips. I ordered my book on Friday. I know I have a few "full page" photos...I am a bit nervous now about how it is going to look. I think it sucks that it doesn't print the way it shows :(

Your Book is beautiful....It was very nice of you to post your account info.
I had a baby boy 2 weeks before you had your twins and you gave me some good ideas. Great Job! Happy Almost birthday to them.
Thanks for the tips also =)

Go to mypublisher.com and click on MyBookShelf. The first page will ask for the book number, hit enter and the second page will ask for the password.

Really enjoyed your book - are you a professional photographer? What kind of camera did you use?

I only have a small point and shoot and am looking into a digital slr - any tips for me?

Thanks
