I have been trying all afternoon to upload my book. It goes through the complete optimizing photos process, begins to upload and then fails. I get the error message that says something along the lines of, communication error, failed to upload, please try again later. On the first attempt, approximately 43% of the book was uploaded and 56% on the second. I have no idea what to do to fix this, but am really hoping to get this book ordered in time for Christmas. Any ideas??

I bet it is your internet connection and when there is a high volume of users in your area, it disconnects you. I would try to upload it to the site late at night when no one will be online.
I hope it works - I'm stressing out about mine too...tis the season :)

Thanks joshutterbug. You might be right, the only thing is that my internet doesn't disconnect during this time. The error message pops up, but all the while I am still connected to the internet. Beats me what is going on. Yep, tis the season:) Maybe this is what I get for waiting until the last minute!

WOOHOO!!! On the fifth attempt, my book has finally uploaded successfully! What a relief, I was really beginning to get frustrated. Can't wait to see how it looks.

I have tried several times at different times of the day (even 2am) and continue to get the error 35 message. The first time I tried was the closest (91%). Others range from 9% to 60%. The book is 45 pages with 72 photos and 65MB. This is becoming very frustrating. I have upload two other books in the past with absolutely zero problems.

Debbie from tech support responded to an email I sent regarding this problem and gave me some things to do on my computer and this seemed to fix the problem. The next time I tried to upload it went through without a problem. She had me empty cache, remove cookies and change my safari to "open with rosetta". Don't know which of these helped.
