xml file corrupted

Hi, I cannot open my book in BookMaker ("Failed to load book" error message is shown).
I see that the xml file inside the book folder (G999F09..., not books.xml) is malformed; looks like it was truncated at a certain point in the <images> node.
Is there a way to recover it?

Hello Matteo - if that is the case, unfortunately not usually. Have you recently deleted books or imported/exported it?

No, deleted or imported/exported books.
Opening the xml file in binary, I see a lot of '0'... I had an power failure recently, I suppose this occurred while BookMaker was writing the file to the disk.

The same thing happened to me and I've tried everything! You should talk to johnnyr or read back a few days. I'm still in the process of trying to recover the data, but no luck so far...
