Hi - I have professional photos at 300dpi, sized to 12x8. Based on some other threads, it seems this would be suitable for full page images, but would I need to re-size the images that I want to use in smaller sizes throughout the book? If this is not necessary, could someone let me know?
Does each image need to be sized to based on how it will be used?

I actually recommend not resizing anything. Our templates are made to be drag and drop and we do the resizing for you.

I used full sized JPEG from a 4mp camera. I now have 12mp camera. When putting together the 4mp pictures (I forget the exact size) the response slowed way down. I have a decent system with 1.5 g ram.
My question is I am putting together a professional wedding album, maybe the large size, some with full page. Should I use the full size JPEG to be safe or is this overkill for 12meg.

OK,
After reading q&a and MP instructions, I have a couple questions for Deluxe size. I may order classic but I do not want to resize and redue the book as it is going to be a large wedding book:
(1) What resize. MP instructions recommends 2633 pixels at 180 dpi
This comes to 2.7 meg files. I am reading the forum and consistant messages state 350 dpi is recommended even by MP (but that is not on their instructions which states 180dpi)
--- I tried the 2633 pixel size at 350 dpi and it = 9.1 meg -- which I know is too large
--- 180 seems a bit low but I realize that anything will be fine.
(2) Color space -- MP states that their profile is closest to Adobe 98 but they state to use sRGB. I normally convert from Adobe 98 to sRGB for any service. What is the best?

How do you know this information? I just purchased a Kodak v1233 (12mp) camara, do I need to do anything special when transferring my pics into my book? I am working on my first book and hoping to print by the end of this month.
