View Full Version : Font spacing

I'm doing my book in Palatino Linotype font size 22 and when viewed in both the "Make Book" and "Preview" modes, the spacing looks incorrect - some letters are bunched together, others have large gaps between them, etc.

I checked the book for spelling errors and there aren't any, so it seems that the text is accurate as typed in some portion of the MP software.

Will the spacing look correct in the printed version, or should I change the font style? If I do need to change the style, how can I do this for the entire book without going through each page?

I emailed customer service yesterday about this, but haven't heard back yet.

Thanks!

The font spacing does look off when viewing. I had the same thing happen to me.
When I received it, it was fine.
Be very careful with periods. Sometimes they look like they are not there when you are previewing but they are. I had it happen to me and on a couple of sentences I had two periods. I remember clearly when I was reviewing it and I typed in the period thinking it wasn't there. When I received the book I looked and sure enough I had typed in two periods.
