Red box around photos...

Okay, I know I have read that the red box around the pictures is a big no-no. I have this around 3 of my pictures in the entire book.

But.....when I look at these pages in the "Preview" section...the pictures with the red box around them look fantastic! Will they print okay, if they look in that section??? Or should I shrink them to be blue boxes?


I have read about some people's books getting held up in printing....would this happen to mine if they dont print okay?? Just wondering, as I am getting down to the wire for Christmas ordering... :)

Hi Kanda - on screen resolution is VERY different than print resolution. Therefore just because they look great on screen doesn't mean they will come out well in print. I recommend not using those 3 images. or shrinking them until the line turns blue.

I have had books printed with poor images and it didn't look too bad. It was only one or two in the whole book, so it was noticable but fine.

One was a scanned in photo from one of the machines that gives you 4 photos in a strip, and another was from an old square photo scanned in.

I knew they would not look like the others, but it was perfectly fine with me and all who view it, never comment about it.
