text problems

I have designed a book using 2.1 and I added pages to the classic hardcover style. When I tried to add text to these new pages, I typed it in and it showed up, but when I clicked out of it to preview the book, the text is not there. My background is black and the text should be white. It shows up for the other pictures, but nothing on the new pages. Help!!! I have to order soon and would like to figure this out ASAP.

Hi MooseLisa - I recommend deleting that page and creating it again. It sounds like the background color is not switching to the correct text color for some reason. You can also try to click on different background colors and switch it back again. Sorry about that!

Instead of redoing these pages, I switched the background color to gray then back to black and the text showed up! Thanks for your help!! Now if I can just get this ordered and in my hands by the night of the 12th...we'll see.
