Bookmaker won't start up in mac

I was working on a book and the power went out in my house. Bookmaker won't start up now. I have deleted the application and downloaded the files again and the same problem persists. When you try and start it it just says that the 'program won't start up.' Any ideas?

I did see that there were some other misc. files that did get deleted when I removed the Bookmaker program. Perhaps Bookmaker is trying to access those and they are the ones corrupted. I guess I will have to start over unless there is another way.
