I just received my books today and neither one of them had the inside text. What happened? I thought a live person checked the book? Wouldn't they question blank text fields? We did the baby book and the very first page is the baby stats page. If there's nothing there, wouldn't they question it? And we had text on practically every page and nothing, but yet the cover text is fine. What happened?

I am sorry but you used iphoto to create your book. We print exactly what we receive from iphoto. Since you did not create your book using BookMaker, the problem is on the iphoto side.

Everyone designs their books differently. QA checks for defects. Lots of people leave blank pages to write in their own writing. I am sorry.

If you support iPhoto then there shouldn't be problems. I have used the exact same version of iPhoto to purchase other books from Apple without any problems. If myPublisher doesn't want to work with Apple users through iPhoto then don't support it.Period. And your response indicates that you don't care for iPhoto.

And based on this response from myPublisher, I will return to Apple for further book purchases. I just thought I'd give it a try and really regret it.

I'm just hoping that this can be cleared up as they were Christmas presents for my 10 month old baby girl's grandparents.

And you said that the live person looks for defects, we'll I don't think anyone looked at ours period. There were obvious printing flaws with the photos. They photos were fine except for part of them were flawed. Best way to describe it is that it looks like a piece of tape was laid on the photo and peeled up slowly. That's a printing error not iPhoto or transmission.

Hi Borednow-

I am sorry that you are frustrated. What version of iphoto are you using? Do you see the text in the iphoto book you are creating? Please verify that. We have never had issues like this from any customer with iphoto books, so I need more information to see if this is really a problem.

I am using iPhoto 6.0.6 on a MacBook OSX10.4.11. (The same version and computer that I've used for other books with Apple) Of course, I double checked and the text is there. It's the default text and size just like the cover text that did print. And the text is only 1 to 2 lines on a page - most pages only have 3 to 4 words.

I am working with one of your customer service reps to try to resolve the problem. I've also talked to a few people and am trying a couple tricks that they have mentioned as others have had this problem too. Hopefully it will transmit fine the next time. The CS rep is going to double check the order before it is reprinted. I just hope that they arrive in time for our holiday travels.
