Hi everybody,

I'm going to try a Deluxe hardcover book as a gift to a family member for Christmas but I have several technical questions :

- I read that a resolution of 2600x2034 was good enough for landscapes. Is that correct ? Do my files need to indicate the 180dpi or the MP printer does not care as long as it has the right number of pixels ?

- as the paper is not a photographic paper and, I guess, has a texture, do I need to boost the contrast, saturation and sharpening in Photoshop to get "crisp" pictures ?

- the printer appears to have a gamut close to that of Adobe98, which is the format I shoot in. Still, I read MP wanted JPG in sRGB. So, do I need to convert my pictures before uploading them ?

Thanks !

- Yes that is good enough for the pixels. Our software autofits images into the molds though so you don't need to do anything to the images if you don't want to.

- the paper is not really textured. It's a semi-gloss. Just keep in mid it is not silver halide paper, so it's not like a shiny 4x6 inch print. Just make sure your monitor is calibrated. It never hurts to books the contrast though if you know how. Most people don't.

- Your images NEED to be jpg rgb so if they are any other file type, you must convert the.
