Okay - I know when there is a red box around the photo, it is a bad thing. I know the color is supposed to be blue. I think you are supposed to "zoom" in on the picture until it turns red....but how do you do this?

Also, as far as the dpi's, pixels, etc...does that really matter? We are using our professional photographers pictures in our book, so as long as the "blue" box is around the picture, they should be alright? Correct?

Thanks!

Yes, as long as there is a blue box, that is OK. You can typically zoom the photo out to get the red box away. You should be just fine with images from a professional photographer. As long as they are the images for print, not for web only.

So glad I decided to go in the forums. I did zoom out on images that had the red around them, but how do I know how small they will actually be? There are no sizes mentioned for the templates.

also can we go a little bigger than the first red line. Hopefully it appears at the very least.

Thanks

Hi Jim - I'm not sure I understand. Are you sure your images from the photographer are high resolution and not emailable ones only??

What you see is what you get in terms of how the page will print. Each image typically should be at least 1MB large in size. How big are each of your images?
